We often talk about not expressing the so-called negative emotions.
We can look at a topic of this kind from two perspectives:
- the only way the universe can answer us is if we express something
- we need to express every emotion, otherwise it will materialize in our body.
I better start with the second variation, since it seems simpler to explain. No thought or emotion ever disappears for real. Let’s say they can transform, but they don’t really disappear. If we don’t think or don’t feel an emotion, it doesn’t disappear, it only means that we ignore it. If we express them, they can take form outside of us, otherwise they take form within us. In other words, unexpressed emotions lead to illness.
The other approach, if we don’t express our emotions, the universe can not answer that particular emotion. One of the reasons we live on earth is to learn the real value of our emotions and thoughts. If we mentally imagine something, it doesn’t mean that it is real, it only means that it is the way our imagination sees it. We can only know the true value of a thought if we express it. When we do, the universe can answer our act. Sometimes, a nudge may help, just like a gentle caress may hinder. The real value of an act cannot be seen unless it is done. Otherwise it only exists in our imagination, which only gives it an imaginary value. Isn’t this what all the spiritual writings are really expressing?
